GOLF

Platinum members will receive up to 50% discount on all the golf courses listed on the Golf Courses page.

Discounts are only obtainable by taking advantage of our Tee Time pre booking service, the terms are listed below.

1. The Portuguese Golf Club will require at least 28 days notice, naturally we will always try and book your request - however no guarantees can be given, alternative times will be offered.
2. Your credit card payment will be required through our Portuguese office in Euro's as soon as the booking confirmation has been received.
3. The Portuguese Golf Club will then email your tee time reservation reference number, which will also act as a receipt of your booking.
4. The confirmation reference number will be required on your arrival at the golf course.
5. Please note discounts are only available with prior booking.
6. Please email your requests to our dedicated staff. In normal circumstances, your bookings will be confirmed to you within 48 hours.

All Platinum members will have the opportunity of entering our Exclusive Portuguese Golf Tournaments, details of these will be emailed to you in the quarterly newsletter.

An internationally recognised Handicap Certificate can be provided to our members, please email us for further details.

The Portuguese Golf Club has formed an association with the Tee Times Golf Agency UK, who specialise in golfing and activity trips to all areas of Portugal.

As a result, we are pleased to announce that we are now able to offer our Platinum members an exclusive 10% off all Tee Times Golf Breaks in Portugal on top of the existing deals which Portuguese Golf Club Members enjoy.

HERTZ CAR RENTALS

All members will receive up to 40% off the rack rate for car rentals. The membership card entitles members to obtain discounts on their car hire throughout the world

HOTELS.

The Club have arranged discounted room rates throughout Portugal, our partners include The Tivoli Group, The VIP Group and The Blandy Group of Hotels.

The Club has negotiated tour operator rates for all our members - in some cases there will even be seasonal reductions off these prices!

FLIGHTS.

Members living in the UK and Ireland will be offered special deals to Lisbon and Faro with TAP - in some cases, members will have the chance to obtain last minute special mid week offers and don't forget all golf bags travel FREE with TAP.

RESTAURANTS

Members have a wide choice of restaurants to choose from that are Associate Members of The Portuguese Golf Club. These restaurants will offer members discounts on your meals. Exclusive to our Platinum Members is the Concierge Service for Restaurant reservations in both the Lisbon area and The Algarve.

MEMBERS SERVICES.

Members will receive quarterly copies of both Golf Lisboa and Golf Algarve and a regular e-mail newsletter detailing special seasonal offers and up to date information on golfing in Portugal.

Members will benefit from Commission Free Foreign Currency Exchange with Travelex.

Platinum members will have telephone access to our English speaking Legal team in Portugal as well as assistance with banking, money transfer and taxation questions through our English speaking associates.

THE PORTUGUESE GOLF CLUB WINE SOCIETY.

All members will automatically become Members of The Portuguese Golf Club Wine Society, commencing early 2007.
The Club's Directors are at present in negotiations with several wineries, so early next year you will be able to purchase Wines and Ports at a reduced price.
