Gold Membership
By joining the largest Golf Club in Europe you can benefit from a mass of exclusive deals which have been negotiated on your behalf.
You could save the cost of your membership in just 3 days by playing Golf on some of Portugal's best golf courses, eating good food and enjoying the Portuguese sunshine.
As a Gold Member you will enjoy the following benefits, for the Annual membership fee of £55.00 or €82.50 (Joint membership £90.00 or €135.00)
GOLF
Gold members will receive up to 25% discount on all of the golf courses listed on the Golf Courses page.
Discounts are only obtainable by taking advantage of our Tee Time pre booking service, the terms are listed below.
- The Portuguese Golf Club will require at least 28 days notice, naturally we will always try and book your request - however no guarantees can be given, alternative times will be offered.
- Your credit card payment will be required through our Portuguese office in Euro's as soon as the booking confirmation has been received.
- The Portuguese Golf Club will then email your tee time reservation reference number, which will also act as a receipt of your booking.
- The confirmation reference number will be required on your arrival at the golf course.
- Please note discounts are only available with prior booking.
- Please email your requests to our dedicated staff. In normal circumstances, your bookings will be confirmed to you within 48 hours.
An internationally recognised Handicap Certificate can be provided to our members, please email us for further details.
HERTZ CAR RENTALS
All members will receive up to 40% off the rack rate for car rentals. The membership card entitles members to obtain discounts on their car hire throughout the world

HOTELS.
The Club have arranged discounted room rates throughout Portugal, our partners include The Tivoli Group, The VIP Group and The Blandy Group of Hotels.
The Club has negotiated tour operator rates for all our members - in some cases there will even be seasonal reductions off these prices!

RESTAURANTS
Members have a wide choice of restaurants to choose from that are Associate Members of The Portuguese Golf Club. These restaurants will offer members discounts on your meals.
Discounts will vary and are entirely at the management's discretion. Further details can be found in both the Golf Lisboa and Golf Algarve magazines.
MEMBERS SERVICES.
Members will receive half yearly copies of both Golf Lisboa and Golf Algarve and a regular e-mail newsletter detailing special seasonal offers and up to date information on golfing in Portugal.
Members will benefit from Commission Free Foreign Currency Exchange with Travelex.
THE PORTUGUESE GOLF CLUB WINE SOCIETY.
All members will automatically become Members of The Portuguese Golf Club Wine Society, commencing early 2007.
The Club's Directors are at present in negotiations with several wineries so early next year you will be able to purchase Wines and Ports at a reduced price.
